Longevity and relevant experience matter. A company with experience cleaning churches understands pew care, sanctuary acoustics during cleaning hours, and nursery standards in a way a purely commercial-office cleaner may not.

2. Are your employees background-checked?
Cleaning crews often work in a building with unsupervised access to nursery and children's ministry spaces. Background checks for all staff should be non-negotiable.

Ask for a current certificate of insurance including general liability and workers' compensation. If something breaks or an employee is injured on church property, you need to know the congregation is protected.
